Incident Command Training
ICS-100 and NIMS-700
ICS, or "Incident Command System" is crucial to smooth operations of incidents. Whether it is a motor vehicle accident, Mass Casualty Incident (ie: shooting, multiple victim accident or incident, etc.), fire or Hazmat incident, ICS is utilized in nearly all responses.
Both courses are considered "Baseline Courses" by FEMA. These courses are self-paced online training courses available through the FEMA Emergency Management Institute ICS Resource Center. Please click the links provided on this training homepage to direct you to the correct pages.
Once you have completed each course, please print a copy of the certificate to be turned into Tri-Community for your training file; as well as save a copy of your certificate electronically so you can access it later. Note: EMS education programs will require a copy of this!
