This evening Tri-Community was honored to be requested to attend an awards ceremony at the City of Niagara Falls City Hall for our response efforts with a major, historical fire within the city.
The Norampac-Greenpac fire in the city required a massive county-wide and entire Western New York response! Companies from across ALL of Niagara County, several from Erie, Genesee and Cattaraugus counties responded with pumpers, rescues, aerial ladders and tankers to help extinguish the biggest fire in City of Niagara Falls history! Rural Metro Medical Services depleted all resources with fire standby activities. Tri-Community placed our ENTIRE fleet on standby for 24 hours to ensure coverage in our area, mutual aid areas and within the City of Niagara Falls.
Tri-Community played a key supporting role in EMS coverage for this large-scale incident.
Representing Tri-Community the evening of the public recognition was President Phil Richardson.
