Pekin & Tri-Community host combined after-holiday party!

Posted on January 29, 2017 at 6:10 PM

This weekend members from Tri-Community joined our fellow responders from Pekin Fire Company in hosting our "after-holiday party". Normally, we will host a company holiday party in December, but this year we decided to try something new as the whole month of December just gets past everyone with everything that needs to be done!

Pekin Fire Company hosted our combined company party at their hall. We thank Chief Snelgrove and the entire Pekin Fire Company for their hospitality.

This past weekend again proved how close knit our company and our entire region of companies truly are. Great time by all!

On behalf of the officers and members of the Tri-Community Ambulance Service, we thank everyone who came out and had fun!

Rest in Peace Nate - we have it from here

Tri-Community would like to continue our thoughts, prayers and support for the family of Nathan Brundage, and the entire emergency services community at the loss of Nate.  Nate was a young man who was taken from us too soon.  Nate proudly served the Lewiston #2 Fire Company.  Personnel from Tri-Community Ambulance had the proud honor of being present a few years ago when Nate was installed as an officer of the Lewiston #2 Fire Company.

Rest in Peace Brother.  We have it from here.

I never thought this time would come where I would have to update everyone to let you know that my son is now in Hospice. Our goal is to stay home and keep Nathan as comfortable as possible however we may have to go the hospice hospital to get him well enough to come back home. He is suffering greatly with massive headaches, severe nausea, and overall disabling deficits you couldn't possibly imagine. Ive never asked or ever wanted more prayers and I'm asking all of my friends family and acquaintances more now than ever before prayers. My family is suffering my husband is suffering,my children are suffering his dad is suffering, and I am suffering, and cancer is devastating our family and our life but most of all my 19 year old young man who deserves all of the best in this entire world. Please pray for him please keep him in your thoughts and when you have a bad day please say a prayer for him and know that it isn't as bad as you may think it could be at times. I am asking that everyone give our family the time we need and the privacy we need to spend with our son and getting through this difficult time. Nathan's request was to always make sure that I update people and make them aware of how horrible this disease can really be. At some point I will but in the meantime we are trying to make him comfortable and trying to give him the best quality of life that he has left please pray for all of us and pray for all of those sick with cancer god bless each and everyone of you.
