Hot off the Presses!
Today, Tri-Community Ambulance received an email from Unyts to summarize the 2016-2017 Holiday Heroes Campaign that just recently ended.
This campaign included support from many local organizations (Fire, Police and EMS). Tri-Community was a proud participant of this event by hosting a Blood Drive, Food Drive and Toy Drive on December 3, 2016. The blood drive supported Unyts.
In all, Unyts reports for the entire campaign the following results:
--Over 500 people presented to donate
--A total of 458 donations were made
--Over 1,300 lives saved in Western New York!
If that wasn't impressive enough, 23 individuals registered to become organ and tissue donors by signing the Donate Life Registry!
TRI-COMMUNITY THANKS EVERYONE FOR DONATING TO OUR EVENT, AND TRI-COMMUNITY IS TRULY PROUD TO HAVE BEEN PART OF THIS EVENT AND PART OF THESE REGIONAL RESULTS!

Tri-Community Ambulance Service is very proud of one of our own featured in a video produced by the Buffalo Bills! Our Western New York hometown team honored not only all first responders, but cited a very specific event that occured during their home opener game. A fan endured a serious medical emergency requiring fast deployment of EMS resources and early CPR! As a result of great team work, the fan personally came back to thank each and every one of the responders in this tribute video!
Tri-Community is VERY proud of our very own, Dan Gross, who is recognized for his life saving skill that day, and is in the video produced by the Buffalo Bills!
Dan joined our ranks as a junior member when he was 14 years old, and has risen through the ranks to the present day AEMT, active member status.
Dan, your extended family here at Tri-Community could not possibly be more proud of you!

Happy Halloween to our friends and neighbors! Tri-Community Ambulance wishes everyone a safe event tonight!
A few items to remember:
1) Always check your treats before you eat them! You can never be too safe!
2) Always have reflective clothing on when out collecting your treats.
3) Children, always trick or treat with an adult.
4) Always have your cell phone with you....and remember to dial 911 if there is an emergency
5) Always look LEFT-RIGHT and LEFT again before crossing the street. Never assume motorists see you, always let them pass by first!
6) Always watch where you are walking. Sidewalks and grounds may be uneven or slick!
7) Always trick or treat during your jurisdictions designated hours!
