The entire State of New York has been placed under a state of emergency by Governor Cuomo. Weather conditions were expected to worsen between Monday into Tuesday nights, with the bulk of the storm hitting on Tuesday. The storm watches and warnings continue on until Wednesday and Thursday before being lifted and the weather advisories ending.
During this event, we saw significant accumulations of snow, with over 14" hitting by Tuesday night in one location in Bergholz. Blowing and drifting snow was also a concern.
Tri-Community volunteers stepped up to the plate and starting early Tuesday morning, our ENTIRE fleet was staffed with volunteer responders to be ready at a moment's notice for an emergency within our community.
Tri-Community would like to thank the volunteers that stepped forward to staff our Unit 1, Unit 2, Unit 3 and MEDIC 5 vehicles during this state-wide emergency weather event.

Tri-Community Ambulance was proud to be asked to support our local high school. On Saturday October 1, 2016, responders from Tri-Community Ambulance Service reported to Niagara Wheatfield High School for a pre-planned EMS standby for the homecoming football game!
Thank you Niagara Wheatfield for asking us to this special event!
